Reading Response Letters, 11/17-21

For your next reading response letter, please include:

• Paragraph 1--Title, author, what part you read, and a summary
• Paragraph 2--Your own thinking (5-7 sentences)--Don't forget to use your sentence starters in the back of the book to help you!
• Paragraph 3--Make a "thick" connection, quote the text (words from the book and page #), and explain your connection (5 sentences)

This opportunity only happens once every four years, so please take a little time this evening to participate in the excitement of our latest election! I am so proud of everyone for casting their votes at school today, and I hope that you have all gone home and encouraged the adults you know to vote, too.
